Twister is challenging young alumni who graduated in the last 15 years (2002-2017), to celebrate King’s 150th Anniversary by making a gift to the 150 challenge. Every gift counts and every gift moves the University closer to achieving its goal of at least 150 new donors and a total of $15,000 in 15 days. (May 15-May 31) If our goal is met, Twister and members of King’s faculty & staff will partner with Small Miracles Therapeutic Riding Center to provide young people with disabilities a day of service and celebration, showing that your gifts impact not only King but also our community! Help King, and help the kids! Click here to join the challenge.
Men’s wrestling has been a varsity sport since 2005 and the women’s team was started in 2009. We need your support at this time to provide enhancements to our practice facility. With the wrestling program over 10 years old, our wrestling room has seen a lot of use and we are in need of new mats totaling $30,000.00. Click here to read more.
Alumni were welcomed for our 91st Dogwood Alumni Weekend on our beautiful campus in Bristol. We had almost 500 alumni, their families, faculty, and staff that attended various events throughout the day. The reunions were a great opportunity to fellowship with former classmates. We couldn't have asked for a better day! View weekend pics by clicking here.
As part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, King University has refreshed the look of its official seal. Since the school's 1867 founding, the seal has comprised six graphical elements, each one representing a prominent aspect of King's educational mission and history. The University has identified at least nine different renderings of the seal from the past century, and the newest incorporates these traditional elements into a more contemporary style. Click here to read more about our new seal.
It's here!!! The latest edition of King University's alumni magazine is arriving in mailboxes. View The King's Herald online by clicking here.
