Class of 1967 - 50th Class Reunion

It is time to celebrate our 50th Class of 1967 Reunion!!  We want to let you know, ahead of time, the date for our 1967 Centennial Class gathering at King College!! (now King University).  We met with Dana McMurray, Director of Alumni Relations at King, and have made some preliminary plans that sound very exciting!

Dogwood/Alumni weekend is scheduled for March 31-April 2, 2017, and it promises to be a wonderful celebration for King's 150th Anniversary celebration as well.  We are remembering our senior year and all the fun we had celebrating that we were the 100th Centennial Class.  We were, and still are, proud of that legacy.  How could another 50 years have gone by so quickly?  Many are the accomplishments of members of our 1967 Class.  We are hoping that you will put these dates on your calendar and make plans to join us on campus for a fun and rewarding Reunion.

We are anticipating starting our festivities on Friday, March 31st with a light supper in the newly remodeled Library at 5:00 P.M. There is a Concert at Viking Hall in Bristol, Tennessee that evening where we will be recognized as the 50th Reunion Class.  Saturday will be a full day starting with a Breakfast on campus to welcome us and our 50th Reunion Class.  There will be a Chapel Service following, and then the Alumni Luncheon in the Dining Hall.  There will be many activities in the afternoon on campus.  Saturday evening we will gather for a special Class of 1967 Dinner at BASQ in downtown Bristol on State Street.

We will be sending you a "save the date" notice soon and will forward to you the complete schedule and details of the Alumni Weekend as they are finalized.  Please do make plans to come to King to celebrate this great milestone in our lives.  We will look forward to being in touch with each of you in the coming months.

So, SAVE THE DATE and make plans to meet us March 31- April 2, 2016!
